He was dumped at a kennels after "humping" another male dog - but has been rehomed by a couple who love him for who he is.
Fezco, who is believed to be between four and five-years-old, was abandoned at an animal shelter in Stanly County, North Carolina, by his owner who didn't want a "gay" dog.
Thankfully, just days after his owner turned his back on him, little Fezco secured a new home with Steve Nicholas and his partner John.
Having renaming him Oscar, after the playwright Oscar Wilde, Steve and John have gone out their way to make their little pooch feel safe and comfortable in his new home in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Steve told WCCB : "We just thought it would make sense for the gay dog to be adopted by a loving gay family.
"We’ve been subject to that kind of bigotry and ignorance throughout our lives together, and we couldn’t always do anything about it.
"We looked at each other and said, we can do something about this."
According to research, male and female dogs, whether they're neutered or not, will hump other dogs for a number of reasons including non-sexual play, social interaction, stress relief or due to urinary tract problem.
A Dogster statement reads: "The plain and simple fact is that dogs are indiscriminate about their humping. Boy dogs hump other boy dogs and girl dogs hump other girl dogs.
"Humans ascribe moral or ethical systems to everything, including having a wide range of conflicting notions of sexual propriety.
"Therefore we think it odd, strange or even comical that sexual congress should take place outside of our well-organised mental frameworks"
Shocked by Fenzo's story, dog lovers have been taking to Facebook to share their thoughts on his abandonment and recent adoption.
One user said: "Dogs don't have a sexual preference. They hump legs and stuffed animals for goodness sake. Glad this dog is getting true love now!"
Another user added: "Some people are so ridiculous, I can’t believe they rejected that dog! Glad he’s found the loving home he deserves!"
A third said: "A dog humping another male dog is simply showing dominance - it's not a sexual thing at all. His previous own obviously doesn't understand basic dog behaviour - they need to educate themselves."
