Gas prices surge more than 20% after Iran targets Qatar production

Wholesale gas prices surged this morning after strikes on Qatar’s main production facility.

In early trading in London the April futures contract for natural gas was up 21.7% at 169.7p a therm, although it had spiked higher at 178p a therm earlier.
