
Gary Woodland claimed an emotional and inspirational victory at the Texas Children's Houston Open, beating Nicolai Hojgaard by five just weeks after revealing a PTSD diagnosis.
The 41-year-old, who had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor in 2023, opened up on his struggles with PTSD earlier in the month, but he put his difficulties behind him with a superb victory at Memorial Park Golf Course to seal his first win since the 2019 US Open.
