Tragedy has hit the former wife of a famous footballer and Leeds legend who died in tragic circumstances in 2011.
Gary Speed, who made 248 appearances for Leeds United, stretching from 1998 to 1996, was found dead in the garage of his home by his wife Louise. A coroner recorded a narrative verdict, saying there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove he intended to take his own life and that his death may have been an accident.
Now, the Daily Mail reports Louise has been left bereaved for a second time after her new husband Quinton Bird died after suffering from a brain tumour. Quinton, a property developer, married Louise more than a year ago in December 2021, and just over a decade after the death of the Welsh football legend Speed.
