Gary Neville has heaped praise on new Liverpool signing Darwin Nunez after the striker came off the bench on Saturday to open his account in the Premier League. The Uruguayan grabbed himself goal and an assist as the Reds were held to a 2-2 draw at Fulham.
The former England international also spoke highly of Manchester City new boy Erling Haaland after his double at West Ham gave the Premier League champions a winning start to the new season.
Jurgen Klopp selected a front three of Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah at Craven Cottage, but found themselves 1-0 down at the break. A poor performance from the Reds was made slightly better thanks to the impact of Nunez.
