Gary Neville has admitted he has doubts over whether Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino are suitable for Manchester United.
United's search for Ralf Rangnick's permanent successor is now underway and Ten Hag and Pochettino are two leading candidates for the position. Ten Hag and Pochettino are both currently in work, at Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
United made enquiries with PSG over Pochettino's availability following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking in October but the French club rebuffed that interest, which led to Rangnick taking over at United on an interim basis. The German will move upstairs at the end of the season and United will appoint a permanent manager in the summer, something which Neville has now discussed.

Neville described the task ahead for United's next appointment and he also revealed he has doubts over Ten Hag and Pochettino.
"My doubts on what Roy has said [about managers with personality] is that Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho were big personalities, and they still couldn’t compete with City and Liverpool in that period," Neville told Sky Sports.
"It’s difficult, Pochettino and Ten Hag, have they got the personality to come in and deal with the issues that exist at this moment in time, with the scale of the club, and to have the personality, character and strategic planning and understanding on how to manage up and down the club.
"As well as influence the recruitment, the planning of the new training ground, the redevelopment of the stadium, all this stuff you think a great manager would do I’m not sure that Ten Hag or Pochettino have that in them.
"I think you need the control, the security and the victories to get that level of power."
