Chelsea have endured a disastrous season on the pitch. The Blues entered a new era after Todd Boehly and the Clearlake Capital consortium completed a £4.25billion takeover at Stamford Bridge.
The same trends have remained at the club despite the new ownership with two managers having been sacked in one season. Thomas Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter just a month into the 2022/23 campaign before the latter suffered the same fate just six months later.
Potter won just 12 games in 32 fixtures during his reign as Chelsea boss, registering a shocking 37.5% win percentage which ultimately led to his dismissal. Now, the search begins again for a new permanent manager with Bruno Saltor set to take charge in an interim role for the foreseeable future.
