Gary Neville has again backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title despite harbouring reservations about their striking options.
After tipping Manchester City to topple the Gunners even despite their healthy lead before the run-in last season, Neville is confident Mikel Arteta's side can go one better this time around.
City's dramatic draw with Chelsea on Sunday means they went into the last international break of the season just a point ahead of Arsenal, who beat the champions for the first time since 2015 last month.
While not every performance has hit the heights of last season's early form, Neville believes Arsenal will soon start to get back to their absolute best.
Still, the former Manchester United defender expressed doubts on quite whether either of Gabriel Jesus or Eddie Nketiah are prolific enough.
The latter is Arsenal's leading League goalscorer this season with five in nine starts, albeit three of those came in one game against struggling Sheffield United.
Jesus, meanwhile, has bagged only once in the League thus far, although injury problems have denied him more than four starts.
“I think that Arsenal can win the league this season," Neville told the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet.
"Despite starting slow, the football will come, the football that we saw from them last season. The fact that they’ve started a little bit slower, I never think is a bad thing, they’re sat there in the pack behind [top].
"My worry with Arsenal is a centre-forward, I like [Gabriel] Jesus and [Eddie] Nketiah but for me they are a number two and three, they need a number one.
"But I do think that when the football comes, and it could come after Christmas at March which is the right time, they could be the opposite of last season – a bit of a slow start and stronger finish.”
