Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has responded to a question about Liverpool. The former full-back has become a renowned pundit on Sky Sports, and often talks about the Reds in his job.
His most recent comments about Liverpool came after their win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night. Neville spoke about how Jurgen Klopp’s side put in a “title-winning performance” against the Gunners.
Neville recently took part in an interview with Sky News journalist Beth Rigby, where he was talking about politics and the topic of Liverpool came up. He was asked if he would rather work for Liverpool or the Conservative party.

The 47-year-old decided to join the Labour party in January, and gave a lengthy reason for his answer.
“Oh my goodness gracious,” replied Neville, when he was first asked the question.
After regaining his composure, Neville added: “Do you know something, I have to say 100 per cent Liverpool Football Club.
“And do you know something, you know how much I don’t like them.
“I look at Jurgen Klopp, Jordan Henderson. They’re the two leaders in that club at this moment in time, on the pitch and off the pitch.
“They’re good men, they’re good people, they’re honest. Let’s start with that, shall we, as the basic fundamentals of a leader in this country, and move away from the shenanigans and the shambles that we’ve had for this last six months.
“You’ve just got your headline. ‘Gary Neville wants to join Liverpool’,” he finished, with a laugh.
