Manchester United extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games with the win over West Ham on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag's side recorded a slender but deserved 1-0 win at Old Trafford. The result moves them up to fifth in the Premier League and just three points shy of third-placed Tottenham with a game in hand.
Gary Neville, a prominent pundit when it comes to his former club, admits that he has been pleasantly surprised by how the side have rallied since losing their first two league games. And he credits the Dutchman in the dugout for the leadership shown.

"The start couldn’t (have been) any more difficult. After Brentford, I thought it was going to be an absolute nightmare for him," Neville said on Sky Sports.
"How he recovered so quickly before Liverpool, handling the (Harry) Maguire situation, Cristiano (Ronaldo) situation, the transfer window was really bad up until the last week.
"There were question marks over Lisandro Martinez over his height and other things mentioned - he couldn’t have had a better start. I think he’s established authority and control which you need to have at this club and the fans are definitely with him."
United are next in Premier League action on Sunday as they travel to Aston Villa. With Tottenham playing Liverpool and Chelsea hosting Arsenal on the same day, next weekend represents a real chance for United to make their mark on the race for next season's Champions League.
