Gary Neville has promised to wear an Arsenal shirt with 'Champions' on the back if Mikel Arteta's side end up winning the Premier League this season.
The Gunners are currently top of the pile after 25 games, sitting five points clear of second-placed Manchester City. However, Manchester United legend Neville has consistently been vocal in his scepticism of their title chances, claiming that they would finish as low as third earlier this week.
Giving his predictions on the Overlap, he said: "That’s my inkling earlier in the season, what normally happens is one team gets so close they realise they can’t win it and then they just go like that in the last two or three games. You lose two games and then all of a sudden someone else goes above you.

"I thought City would win the league and United would finish second two or three months ago. To be fair, I’m not going to change my mind on it.
"I still think City are going to win the league even though Arsenal, the closer it gets… but 14 games is still a long way to go. I still think United will finish second."
Now, Neville has taken to social media, claiming he will do a forfeit if the north London outfit are able to end their 19-year wait for a league title come May. One fan Tweeted the former England right-back, saying: "If Arsenal win the league @GNev2 should shave his head bald on the Emirates pitch on the last day of the season for charity."
To which, Neville replied: "I will wear an Arsenal shirt saying champions for you my friend! But if you lose it you all grovel on here and say "Sorry Gary" (laughing emoji)."
Arteta and co. will certainly be hoping they can prove Neville wrong in the next few months and the Spaniard has claimed that they will have to take it game by time, making sure his side doesn't get ahead of themselves. "It is something that we have to train, discuss and build," the former City assistant coach said when asked about the run-in earlier this week
"It is not easy. But a lot of the time it happens through experiences and most of the time it is experiences that you don't want to go through.
"The calendar, the fixtures [are] going to give you that. Sometimes you are here, sometimes you are three points, two points, minus two, it is going to happen and we have to deal with that."
