'Liverpool will be the most difficult' - Gary Neville makes fearful admission
He regularly stepped into the lion's den at Anfield and Goodison during almost two decades as a player with Manchester United. But there's a cheery sense of trepidation from Gary Neville as he once again prepares to brave performing in front of thousands of supporters in Liverpool.
Having long swapped the pitch for the commentary gantry, Neville this evening will be at the M&S Bank Arena for the first night of The Overlap Live, a four-date tour of his successful YouTube channel. There will, at least, be safety in numbers, with fellow Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane joining him on stage. Kenny Dalglish will be a special guest.

"I'm not sure what reception I'll get!" laughs Neville, speaking to the ECHO. "Carra got a few boos in Manchester when we've been there in the past, so I'm expecting a few!
"I'm a little bit nervous because when I set off on this journey two years ago now on The Overlap, I always wanted to take it to arenas. And now it's happening, I'm thinking 'Why did I do that? Why do I need this hassle and anxiety in my life?!?'"

Liverpool could drop four major hints that huge summer transfer window is coming
Four of Liverpool’s most iconic shirt numbers could all be up for grabs in the summer as the Reds’ plot their biggest squad overhaul since 2018.
FSG sanctioned an £174.75m spending spree off the back of Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, as Jurgen Klopp brought in Alisson Becker, Naby Keita, Fabinho, and Xherdan Shaqiri. Such investment was rewarded by the Reds finishing the season as European champions, lifting their first trophy under the German in the process, and by forging their first title-challenge under his watch.
Since then, Liverpool have won every major trophy going after establishing themselves as one of the best sides in Europe. But off the back of very nearly landing an unprecedented quadruple last year, the Reds now find themselves in transition with their mentality monsters now an ageing squad.
As a result, Liverpool are expected to be active in the transfer market, with a midfield revamp very much on the agenda after overhauling their attack over the past 12 months. And with a number of players poised to leave Anfield also, some of the Reds’ most iconic numbers could have new owners.
