Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has claimed that Gary Neville and Roy Keane's recent clash on Sky Sports was 'nonsense' and 'laughable' after the pair argued about Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Reds teammates were involved in a heated debate about the 37-year-old and his future following United's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last month. It came after the Portuguese star refused to come off the bench for Erik ten Hag's side during the victory over Tottenham Hotspur in October.
Ronaldo, who was subsequently dropped by Ten Hag for the Chelsea clash, was the main talking point after the game, with Keane and Neville clashing when putting forward their respective opinions on the matter.

Hasselbaink - who was sat in the middle of the pair - could barely get a word in as the ex-teammates argued about the former Real Madrid man. The Dutchman's awkward expressions were a popular topic of conversation on social media, and the 50-year-old has now opened up on the heated debate.
"I love it. I love it. I thought [the debate] was horrendous. I thought it was laughable. I thought it was great. It's fun. I think that both have got insight, but [a lot of] what they say is nonsense. I don't agree with it," he told Express Sport.
Keane had suggested that some Reds players had "done worse" than Ronaldo in the past, and that the 37-year-old was "justified" in his anger. However, Neville disagreed with the Irishman and claimed that the forward would have to alter his mindset after playing his whole career at the top level.
