Gary Neville remains convinced Arsenal can win the Premier League title this season.
After sitting top of the pile at Christmas, Mikel Arteta’s side have since fallen down to fourth and they now trail leaders Liverpool by five points.
The Gunners have gone three games without a win, losing two of their last three games following defeats to London rivals West Ham and Fulham.
Neville, who predicted Manchester City would overhaul Arsenal’s lead last season, has backed Arteta to deliver the ultimate prize all season.
The Sky Sports pundit remains convinced the north London giants can still win the League but admits the lack of goals is a real issue.
Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s top scorer this season with six goals in 19 League appearances but all of Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard are struggling for form.
“They’ve had a difficult patch but they can come back, they still can win the league,” he told Sky Sports.
“The issue is at the top end of the pitch where they have had a problem putting the ball in the back of the net at this moment in time.
“The striker is an issue. They’ve got two good strikers in [Eddie] Nketiah and [Gabriel] Jesus but they’re both two and three striker. They’re not a No.1 striker and they need that.”
