Leicester City legend Gary Lineker has congratulated Nottingham Forest for retaining their Premier League status.
Steve Cooper's side recorded a remarkable 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the City Ground to avoid relegation. Taiwo Awoniyi scored the opening goal in the 19th minute after Morgan Gibbs-White picked up a loose ball.
He found the Nigerian through on goal, with Gabriel Magalhaes unable to clear his effort. Forest remain in 16th place on 37 points but are now six points from the relegation zone and a trip to Crystal Palace will follow on the final day.

As he took to Twitter, Match of the Day presenter Lineker hailed the club for sticking with Cooper.
"Congratulations too to NFFC on staying up," he wrote. "A reward for sticking with a talented manager when others would’ve panicked."
