Gary Lineker makes savage dig at Piers Morgan as he promotes new TV show

It looks like the feud between Gary Lineker and Piers Morgan isn't over quite yet, judging by their latest Twitter exchange.

Former Good Morning Britain host Piers took to the social media site on Friday morning to tease fans about his forthcoming show.

Sharing a snap of the series' logo, 56-year-old Piers told his 7.9 million followers that it was simply: "COMING SOON."

Gary, 61, was quick to retweet him and couldn't help but wrote something sarcastic.

"Finally, you will be uncensored and we’ll be able to hear your views. I’ve really missed them," he wrote, poking fun at Piers' outspoken ways.

However, it seems it was just some friendly banter between the two men as Piers then went on to retweet the former footballer.

On Friday, Piers also shared a trailer for his new show which is called Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The clip, which is almost three minutes long, sees Piers tear into Price Harry and also moan about slow golfers and so-called anti-vaxxers.

Speaking about father-of-two Harry, Piers says: "I like the old Prince Harry, the one who used to get drunk in Vegas, he was a lot more fun than this ho-faced, sanctimonious, virtue-signalling hypocrite who just thinks it's perfectly okay to quit the country, quit the royal family and then make all these demands from his California mansion about all the stuff he still thinks he's entitled to."

Piers continues: "He and his wife are making hundreds of millions of dollars out of fleecing titles bestowed on them by an institution they keep trashing in public and I think it's a sickening thing that they're doing."

The clip ends with Piers saying: "I think it's horrible for the Queen and I wish they would stop."

Piers' show will be an hour-long daily show which will air weeknights on new channel TalkTV in the UK.
