BBC pundit Gary Lineker says Jurgen Klopp's contract extension is 'good news' for everyone that watches Premier League football.
The Liverpool boss put pen to paper on a two year extension on Thursday, taking his deal to 2026. It's not only welcomed news for Reds supporters, however, as Lineker took to social media to express his delight at the German extending his stay at Anfield.
He shared in a tweet: "Great news for not just Liverpool fans, but for most of us that watch Premier League football. So much respect for this man.

"What he’s achieved is quite extraordinary. Would love to play under him. Not now, obviously, I’m 61 and really s**t, but you know what I mean."
Klopp has brought incredible success to Liverpool since his arrival in October 2015. A sixth European Cup and a first Premier League title in 30 years represent just some of the club's achievements in recent years.
The Reds boss outlined his vision for the club when he faced the media in a press conference on Friday. "I realise obviously that people are happy about it," he said. "That’s good, and I’m very happy about it as well. It’s for me in this moment in time the place to be, to be honest.
“This club offers a lot. We are building a new stand again, it’s a sign that we never stop trying to develop the situation. We have a team in the best age group, but, time is running, that’s how it is. We have to do a couple of things."
Not only did Klopp prolong his commitment to the club, but so too did key members of his backroom staff including assistant managers Pep Lijnders and Peter Krawietz.
