Match of the Day viewers were left bewildered when noises began to play that you certainly would not expect on the BBC before the watershed.
Gary Lineker was fronting the BBC show live when explicit moaning sounds were heard, leaving the presenter red-faced as he tried valiantly to carry on despite the distraction. "I don't know who's making that noise," he admitted, struggling not to laugh as he passed over to Alan Shearer in the commentary box.
The Tyneside legend also couldn't quite manage to hide his smirk as the graphic noises continued to play. "It's toasty in this studio - it's a bit noisy as well," Gary joked - and viewers at home were understandably left in stitches by the unfortunate prank.

"What on earth is happening on Match of the Day?" one person wrote on Twitter as the noises began playing on the BBC, followed by a series of crying laughter emojis.
"Match of the Day getting absolutely rinsed with the woman moaning sound, I'm absolutely howling man!" another viewer said. "Respect to Shearer and Lineker for keeping it together."
"Didn't realise Match of the Day got so spicy this year," someone else joked.
Another fan dubbed it "the greatest moment in Match of the Day history" - and host Gary Lineker took the embarrassing moment in good humour.
Lineker later posted on Twitter saying that the team appeared to have found the source of the sounds - although the culprit is still unknown. Posting a photo of an old mobile phone with tape over it, he revealed: "Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing."
