Arsenal felt hard done by on Saturday after they failed to beat Brentford in a highly-entertaining clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The away side set up in a 3-5-2 deep block to stifle the Gunners' creative threat to good effect for the first hour. However, some skilful play from Bukayo Saka down the right flank turned into Leandro Trossard's first goal in an Arsenal shirt after the Hale End academy graduate fired in an excellent low cross to the Belgian in the 66th minute.
But the north Londoners couldn't hold onto their lead for very long, with Brentford striker Ivan Toney equalising from close range just eight minutes later. The goal was given after being checked by VAR for a few minutes but it emerged on Saturday night that Christian Norgaard, who assisted Toney, was actually offside.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was far from impressed by the officiating, claiming that the Bees' goal was incorrectly awarded, something that former Tottenham Hotspur star Gary Lineker agreed with. Taking to Twitter, Lineker replied to Arteta's comments by saying: "He’s right".
All-time Premier League leading goalscorer and BBC Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer echoed Lineker's sentiments, claiming that Mason panicked when reviewing the goal. “Lee Mason, in VAR, he has panicked", Shearer admitted.
"He is thinking he has used too much time on that thing looking at it. He hasn’t spotted that, and he certainly hasn’t spotted the big error which was the second header from where the goal came from. Awful error.”
