Gary Barlow has denied reports he is set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie biopic Better Man, based on the life of his former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams.
Singer-songwriter Gary, 51, had sparked speculation that he might appear in the project as he was in Australia recently, with the biopic being filmed in Melbourne.
He's understood to have been in Sydney with his daughters Emily Barlow, 19, and Daisy Barlow, 12, having reportedly been spotted at several popular cafés and gyms in the area.
A rep for the musician however has confirmed to us that he is "just on holiday with his family," dismissing the suggestion that he's set to star in his former bandmate's silver screen project.
It had been claimed that Gary - who was a bandmate of Robbie's for around seven years - has been "offering guidance to make sure the story is told right."
It's been reported that Robbie will play himself in the film, with the help of de-ageing special effects - though actor Jonno Davies, 29, is said to be filling in for flashback scenes.

Jake Simmance, 24, will play a teenage version of Gary in the project. His credits include BBC series Call the Midwife and more recently Netflix's Anatomy of a Scandal.
It's understood the rest of Take That will be played by Liam Head, Jesse Hyde and Chase Vollenweider. They're said to play Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange respectively.
Robbie was a member of Take That initially from 1990 to 1995. He later rejoined his bandmates between 2010 and 2012, though he hasn't been a member of the group since.
Better Man is being directed by Michael Gracey. He is best known for having directed award-winning film The Greatest Showman (2017). That was his directorial debut.
And he has experience working on a biopic, with him having been an executive producer on the film Rocketman, which was about the life and career of Sir Elton John, 75.
A release date for Better Man has yet to be announced. Filming for the project is currently underway in Melbourne.
