Gary Barlow has heaped praise on an Edinburgh hotel after completing a run of sell out shows in the capital.
The former Take That frontman finished off a five-date residency at the capital’s Lyceum Theatre on Sunday after wowing audiences with his 'A Different Stage' showcase filling out the Victorian auditorium.
Barlow, 51, previously took to Instagram to hail the venue as ‘one of the most beautiful’ he had ever played.

And he was similarly complimentary about the luxurious Prestonfield House hotel where he stayed for the duration of his run.
The opulent five-star location in the shadow of Arthur’s Seat has previously been described as the capital’s “most glamorous” hotel and sits within 20 acres of rolling gardens.
The lavish 17th century mansion boasts a number of extravagant rooms - charging a premium price for an evening’s stay.
Barlow however was clearly impressed, posting on social media about his positive experience.
Captioning an image of the hotel, he wrote: “We had the most incredible hotel while we were in Edinburgh.
"Massive thanks to Prestonfield House and all the fantastic stafff. Can't recommend this place enough."
Barlow's one man show debuted in Edinburgh before moving around the UK for performances in London's West End.
Working with Tim Firth, the story follows the life of the pop star, as well as performing some of his most iconic music.
Previously speaking about the show, he said: “Now I've done shows where it has just been me a keyboard. I've done shows where I sit and talk to people. I've done shows where I've performed as part of a group.
"But this one, well, it’s like all of those, but none of them. When I walk out this time, it's going to be a very different stage altogether.”
However he clearly enjoyed his time in the city, posting a goodbye message after his final performance.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “Have absolutely loved Edinburgh, what a town.
“Every audience totally brilliant, thanks for having us.”
