Kim Garth has been reprimanded for swearing during the third ODI against India in Perth last week.

The Australian bowler was found to have breached Level 1 of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct with the "use of an audible obscenity during an international match."

In addition, one demerit point has been added to Garth's disciplinary record, for whom it was the first offence in a 24-month period.

The incident occurred in the fourth over of India's innings, when Garth used inappropriate language after being struck for a boundary.

Garth admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Dave Gilbert after the match umpires levelled the charge.

South African bowler Chloe Tryon has been hit with an identical penalty for committing the same offence in the ongoing Test match against England in Bloemfontein.
