Garth Brooks has revealed his recent Irish gigs were the first time he ever sold out all of his concerts in one country.
Speaking on his social media channel Inside Studio G yesterday, the 60-year-old said that his time at Croke Park was an “epic journey” that could not be repeated.
The father-of-three said: “For the first time in my career we sold every ticket, there were none left over, not even single ones.”

Brooks said he would never come to terms with how great the crowds who attended the five concerts were.
“The way they sing is crazy good. You don’t hear me you just hear them and what a beautiful, beautiful stadium.
“Thank you from my children’s hearts, my heart and my Mom and Dad’s hearts thank you for letting us play Ireland. It was humbling. Jimmy Mattingly (fiddle player) had them (the crowd) in the palm of his hands. He was theirs and he was theirs.”
The multi-grammy award winner was honoured by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) with the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 5th annual Nashville Songwriter Awards several days ago. The previous three winners were Loretta Lynn, Whisper Bill Anderson and Willie Nelson.
He said that his concert on Saturday at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in the Ozarks of Missouri would be his last gig for this year.
Brooks and his wife singer/songwriter Trisha Yearwood returned to the US ten days ago after packing the Dublin venue with “408,000 people”.
The Thunder Rolls singer revealed that his social media channel would also be ending on Friday.
Last April Brooks announced that his stadium tour, which ended with his string of Dublin concerts, would be his last but added that “people will go nuts when they see” the documentary from his time in Ireland.
