With the last of his concerts just days away, more details have been announced.
Aiken Promotions have urged concert-goers to take note of a number of things, including checking their ticket in advance to make sure they are attending on the right date.
Here’s all you need to know.
Tickets
Ticketmaster is the official ticket seller for the concerts, with limited tickets currently for sale for each night costing €65.45 for standing and €81 for seats plus fees.
It is a mostly digital-ticket event, with Aiken Promotions advising: “Please remember to download your tickets from your Ticketmaster account to your iPhone wallet / Google Pay wallet in advance of show day. Screenshots or printouts of digital tickets will not be accepted.
“Do not wait until you arrive at the venue as network coverage may not be available.”
Parking and transport
People are advised to allow plenty of time to get to Croke Park.
There is no parking available on the streets in the immediate vicinity of Croke Park. The area will be monitored by Dublin City Council’s Parking Enforcement and illegally parked cars will be clamped or towed away.
People are strongly encouraged to use public transport and Aiken Promotions suggest drivers park their car and link with public transport on the outskirts of the city.
Croke Park is well served by public transport. Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS transport options can all bring you within walking distance of the venue. You can plan your journey online from anywhere in Ireland to the venue via transportforireland.ie.
A traffic management plan will be in operation by An Garda Siochana.
Entry route and seating plan
Concert-goers can check their ticket for details on their entry route. There will be signage to direct them to the appropriate entrance for their seating or standing area. They can follow the coloured route / directions as indicated on their ticket details.
Below is Croke Park’s typical seating plan.
It is unlikely to change for the Garth Brooks concerts.
Start time, support act and running times
There will be no support act any of the nights. Gates will open at 5pm and the show is due to start at 7.30pm.
A curfew of 10.30pm will be in place.
Garth Brooks took to the stage around 8pm for last week's concerts and finished up shortly after 10pm.
Setlist
With three gigs already under his belt, fans have a good idea of what the setlist will look like for the upcoming shows.
He opened all three shows with Ireland, and his biggest hits - including The River, The Thunder Rolls, Unanswered Prayers, If Tomorrow Never Comes, Callin’ Baton Rouge, The Dance and Standing Outside The Fire - were played every night, so are highly likely to feature this Friday and Saturday.
While there is no way to know for certain what songs he will play each night, you can read full details of what we expect his setlist to look like HERE.
Weather
Aiken Promotions said: “These are outdoor events and Ireland has its fair share of rain and cool wind, so please watch the weather forecast prior to the show days and dress accordingly.
“We are hoping the sun will come out for all the shows so if this is the case, please don’t forget your sun-cream. Croke Park can get colder as the day goes on so, please dress with this in mind.
“An important tip – no one likes unhappy feet at a concert right? So, make sure to wear comfy footwear to allow for lots of dancing.”
