The NFL and Associated Press announced the finalists for their various awards for 2022, including Offensive Rookie of the Year, where the Jets will have representation.
Wide receiver Garrett Wilson is among the three finalists for the top rookie on offense this season. Wilson led all rookie wide receivers with 1,103 receiving yards on 83 catches with four touchdowns.
Wilson recorded three games of over 100 receiving yards this season — 102 vs. the Browns, 115 vs. the Broncos and 162 against the Vikings — and three more games with at least 90 yards. He had two touchdowns against the Browns and two against the Bears.
The winner will be announced at the NFL Honors on February 9, the week before Super Bowl LVII.
The other two nominees are 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker.
