The true king of the kart racer, Garfield the unendingly hungry cat, is ripping into Nintendo's decision to effectively kill Mario Kart Tour.

This week, Nintendo announced that its seemingly successful mobile spin-off, Mario Kart Tour, would be shutting down after an almost seven-year run. The entire game and all purchases people have made will be scrubbed come late September, and Nintendo doesn't plan to release a version that's playable offline, as they did for Animal Crossing's mobile experiment.
