Gareth Southgate has left Arsenal star Ben White out of the England squad for this month's Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The versatile defender was named in The Three Lions' squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, although he left the camp halfway through the tournament due to personal reasons. There was some speculation that White had fallen out with England assistant coach Steve Holland, although Southgate rubbished these reports shortly after.
When asked about the reported bust-up, Southgate said: "What I’ve been shown was alleged and there was another word that was used [in the article]. I think by commenting on the story I could be giving it any form of credibility, really.

"We explained why Ben left the camp and I think it’s important that that is respected, really." Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that there was no problems between the 25-year-old and England set-up, praising the makeshift right-back for his consistent performances this season.
"As far as I am concerned, no," Arteta replied when asked if there were any lingering issues with the player. "He has been in very good form, available for every single match and has been performing well for us.
"He is available for us so for sure he will be available for the England squad."
However, there were two Arsenal players that were included in the squad in the form of winger Bukayo Saka and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
