Gareth Bale reckons Aaron Ramsey joining Rangers is a big plus for the Wales national team.
The Real Madrid winger revealed his international team-mate told him he's enjoying life at Ibrox following a January loan move from Juventus.
Ramsey had been frozen out in Turin this season, with his last minutes before moving to Glasgow coming for Wales in October.
The 31-year-old hasn't played regularly under Giovanni van Bronckhorst either, but his minutes are gradually increasing.
And given his importance to his country, Bale insists that can only be a good thing as they prepare to face Austria for a World Cup play-off final place.
“Aaron always keeps himself in good shape regardless," Bale said.
"But he’s obviously happy he’s playing some more minutes than he was at Juventus, which is great news for us.
“He’s said he’s enjoying it at Rangers and it’s a big club.
“Enjoying your football is the most important thing because if you’re happy in what you’re doing you’re going to play better.
"Hopefully he can put in a good performance in this game.”
