A garden company that wanted to show support for the people of Ukraine by flying the blue-and-yellow flag has been hit with a one-star Google review. The review was left by a disgruntled passerby who vented his frustration at the removal of the Welsh flag that was replaced by the Ukrainian flag.
However, it was the surprise response of the business owner that has drawn praise from members of the public. Events unfolded after Dandy’s Topsoil & Landscape Supplies visited Ukraine to donate aid.
After returning home, they erected the Ukrainian flag as an act of solidarity with the war-torn country. The garden company usually flies a giant Welsh flag, however the replacement was too much to bear for one irate passerby who took to Google to make his feelings known.
