A woman was arrested after gardai targeted Irish airports and ports as part of an anti-trafficking operation recently. Multiple agencies were involved in the move which took place in June across different spots including Dublin and Cork Airports and Dublin Port.
264 inspections were carried out across Cork, Dublin, and Rosslare with "additional checks" on buses going between here and Northern Ireland. Following these, a woman was arrested before being released without charge.
A garda spokesperson said it came after "one case of concern" arose at Dublin Airport and added that "the matter remains under investigation".
