Gardai stand down search for missing man Christopher Dunne, 26, after body recovered in Cork

Gardai have stood down the search for missing man Christopher Dunne after the recovery of a body in Kinsale, Co. Cork on Friday evening.

Christopher had been missing from his home in the Ballinspittle area since Thursday, May 19. He was last seen in the Old Head area of Garrettstown.

A garda spokesperson said: “An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time.”
