Gardai have sealed off an area near a Luas stop in south Dublin following an alleged assault.
A man in his 30s, and a woman in her 40s, were arrested in relation to an incident that happened in the early hours of the morning in Drimnagh. They are both currently detained at Crumlin Garda Station, a garda spokesperson confirmed.
A Luas spokesperson warned passengers that the inbound platform at Drimnagh was closed following the alleged attack this morning. They said on Twitter: "Passengers on the Red Line please be advised that the inbound platform at Drimnagh is closed following a non-Luas related incident.
