Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a horror single-vehicle crash in Co Cork on Thursday morning.
A man in his 60s, who was the only occupant of the van involved, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
Officers remain at the site of the crash and the road in Gleann, Dunmanway is currently closed.

Anyone who was travelling in this area between 9.30am and 10am is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
Those who may have camera footage (including dash cam) and were travelling in the area at this time are also asked to make this footage available to gardai.

A statement released by a garda spokesperson this afternoon confirmed: “Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision involving a van that occurred in Gleann, Dunmanaway, County Cork at approximately 9:45am on Thursday, 2nd June, 2022.
“A man in his 60s, the only occupant of the vehicle involved, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The road is currently closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene. Local diversions are in place.
“Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have information in relation to this incident to contact them.”
