Gardai raid 'underground bunker' full of cannabis in Galway and make two arrests

Gardai Garda Galway Operation Tara Dunmore

Two people have been arrested in connection to the seizure of over €70,000 worth of cannabis from an underground bunker in Galway.

The discovery was made on Tuesday by gardai in Dunmore as part of Operation Tara, an enhanced national anti-drugs strategy.

Cannabis plants worth €52,800 and cannabis herb valued at €11,500 were seized.
