Gardaí issue warning after woman spots hidden camera in shower and man jailed

An Garda Síochána has today issued a stark warning and advice over a rise in cases of Sextortion in Ireland.

Citing a recent case, gardai revealed that a woman reported finding an image of herself circulating online without her permission.

It is understood that it was taken via a hidden camera in her shower, and the man responsible was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
