Gardai are investigating all circumstances after a man's body was found off Howth Harbour yesterday afternoon.
The grisly discovery was made yesterday afternoon at around 3pm after tourists reported seeing a body in the water in Howth. The man's body was taken to Dublin City Mortuary.
The post-mortem will be carried out at a later date. Gardai said the results of this post-mortem would determine the course of their investigation.

The Howth RNLI rushed to the scene yesterday after being informed of the sighting by the Irish Coast Guard. The body was located and recovered from the water by the RNLI crew.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the discovery of a body of a male in the water at Howth Harbour at approximately 3pm on Friday, 21st October, 2022.
"The body of the man was taken to Dublin City Mortuary in order for a post-mortem to be conducted at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the Garda investigation."
