Gardai are investigating "all circumstances" after the body of a woman was discovered in the Blanchardstown area.
The body was found shortly after 5am on Sunday morning in Tyrellstown.
A post-mortem will be carried out on the body which will determine the course of the investigation.
A spokeswoman said: "Gardai are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a female in Tyrellstown at approximately 5:20am this morning.
"A post-mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation."
