A garda investigation is under way after a man's body was discovered at a property in Waterford.
The man, who was in his 30s, was found dead at a residence in Waterford on Tuesday.
Gardai attended the scene on Tuesday morning.
The man's body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
Gardai say that the results of this post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
However, it is understood that the discovery is not being treated as suspicious.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardai are investigating the death of a male, aged in his 30s, which occurred at a residence in Waterford. Gardai attended the scene yesterday morning, Tuesday February 15 2022.
"The body of the male was been taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
"The results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation."
