Gardai are investigating after the body of a man was found in a south Dublin home.
The shocking discovery happened at a property on Sallynoggin Road Lower at around 12.25 pm on Wednesday.
Gardai in Dun Laoghaire were alerted to the scene and the body was removed from the scene to the Dublin City Mortuary.
A post mortem is due to take place on Thursday the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Investigations ongoing."
