Gardai descend on small town with houses searched, checkpoints and arrest made

Garda Gardai

Gardai stormed six separate premises at once on Thursday as part of a major operation in Co Tipperary.

Officers in Roscrea investigating the sale and supply of drugs hit multiple properties with searches along with checkpoints around the town.

Cannabis, cocaine and heroine were found during the searches while two terrier dogs were also seized amid concern for their safety.
