Gardai catch learner driver only on the road for two weeks absolutely smashing speed limit

Gardai caught a learner driver smashing the speed limit on a Laois motorway - and they only had their license two weeks.

The roads policing unit spotted the speeder on the M7 and chased them down to find they were an unaccompanied learner.

The motorist was clocked at 172km/h in the 120km/h zone.
