Gardai have asked the public to come forward with any relevant information after 66 incidents of cable theft were recorded in the last few months.
The incidents involve telephone cables across four counties - Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Meath.
On average, Gardai responded to 11 incidents of cable theft per month from August 2020 to now.
