A garda car was damaged after a gang of youths threw objects at it as it sped past them in west Dublin.
The gang were positioned on the corner of Cherry Orchard Avenue and Cherry Orchard Way on Sunday night - just metres away from where a garda car was rammed by youths in a stolen car in September. Footage seen by Dublin Live shows a car - appearing to be a convertible Peugeot 208 with the roof down - speeding around the corner from the Way to the Avenue.
The car then dives down Croftwood Crescent as the garda car lights come into view. The patrol vehicle exits the roundabout near where the ramming occurred as a youth on a scrambler speeds down the road.

The gang then all make their way to one side of the road. And as the garda car speeds past, it is pelted with objects, and a cracking sound is heard.
The car continues off down the Avenue, passing a Dublin Bus on its way. Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that the incident occurred, and that no arrests had taken place.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardai are investigating an incident of criminal damage to a Garda vehicle which occurred in Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 last night, February 19 2023. There are no arrests at this time. Investigations are ongoing."
