A gangland enforcer is facing prison disciplinary charges after he allegedly became following a booze-up with a Kinahan gangster in their cell.
Scott Capper, a right hand man of Dublin mob boss Mr Flashy before he was jailed last year, is alleged to have been aggressive when warders confronted him over his suspected whiskey and beer binge in Mountjoy. Sources confirmed he and his pal Glen Thompson – serving 12 years for a Kinahan plot to murder top target Patsy Hutch in Dublin in March 2018 – were both drunk when staff found them in their cell late last week.
But, although both men are to face disciplinary proceedings for having the illicit booze, Capper, 28, is facing further sanctions because of his reaction to the officers. A source said: “They were both drunk and when Capper came to he became aggressive to the officers. He lashed out at them.”

Capper and Thompson, 28, were later taken from their cell and placed in close observation cells elsewhere in the prison. Although Capper was close at one stage on the outside with Mr Flashy – a notorious crime boss from Finglas – relations had cooled before he was jailed last July and he is now close to Kinahan cartel inmates in the prison.
He was jailed for two-and-a-half years last July for stealing a €50,000 cashbox from a security guard in Co Westmeath in May 2019.
