Gang of men armed with hammers and baseball bat attack car

Baseball Police

A gang of men armed with hammers and baseball bats attacked a car with terrified driver and passenger inside.

Merseyside Police were called at 6.15pm on Friday, December 30, following reports of an incident on Beech Close, just off Rowan Drive in Kirkby. Police have said a driver and passenger of a grey Ford Focus parked up on the road when a group of "between three and 10 men" armed with hammers and a baseball bat started attacking the vehicle.

The attack caused damage to the front windscreen and side window. The driver of the Focus drove away to avoid further damage to the vehicle.
