Police are appealing for witnesses after a group attacked a man in Hamilton
The 40-year-old was walking on Pollok Avenue alongside a woman when they were approached by a gang of unidentified men at around 11.55pm on June 2.
A disturbance ensued which resulted in the man being injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Following the incident, the gang sped off in a vehicle towards the Hillhouse area

Detective Constable Sarah McNeil said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage or who saw or heard a disturbance to get in touch.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0007 of 3 June, 2023, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
