There have been a lot of eyes on the Age of Empires series this weekend as the Red Bull Wololo 2026: Londinium tournament is being played out, and the Age of Empires 4 team has taken the opportunity to announce a new DLC.
It's called Yue Fei's Legacy, and it's expected to launch on May 7, 2026. It's available for preorder now at Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Xbox, and it lands with a $14.99 price tag. However, it's currently on sale for $12.74 for a limited time.
The Yue Fei's Legacy DLC adds a new campaign with eight missions, where you play as the Chinese Song Dynasty general Yue Fei in the Song-Jin wars.
The Jin Dynasty also arrives as a new playable civilization for multiplayer and skirmish matches. It's a civ that focuses on strong cavalry and siege, which are two aspects that I always love to use.
The new civ comes with new unique units, including Mounted Grenadiers, Iron Pagodas, and Eruptors, and the DLC also adds four completely new maps and two new biomes for the maps.
Who will win take home the $250,000 prize pool at Red Bull Wololo: Londinium?

Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 4 are both currently being played at the highest pro level possible as part of Red Bull's Wololo 2026: Londinium tournament.
Today, April 6, is actually the final day of the tournament, with the ultimate deciding matches being played inside the Royal Albert Hall with accompaniment by a 40-piece orchestra. The winners will receive a big chunk of the overall $250,000 prize pool.
The Age of Empires 4 finale is being played out first in a best-of-five matchup at 10:30 EDT (14:30 London time), while the Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition finale follows it at 13:00 EDT (17:00 London time) with a best-of-nine matchup.
I won't say here which two players made it to the finale for each game; I don't want to spoil anything should you want to go back and watch the full set of matches. It's been an entertaining weekend of Age gameplay, to say the least, and I've been impressed with the production quality.
It's great to see some of my favorite Age casters and commentators dressed up in historically accurate garb as the players battled out the quarterfinals aboard a mock merchant ship.
