Michigan State will return to the Sweet 16 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Spartans will face Kansas State at 6:30 p.m. ET in a Sweet 16 matchup in the East Region. The game will be televised on TBS.
Michigan State beat No. 10 seed USC in the first round on Friday afternoon, and followed with a victory over No. 2 seed Marquette on Sunday to reach its first Sweet 16 since 2019.
Kansas State knocked off No. 14 seed Montana State in the first round on Friday and beat No. 6 seed Kentucky on Sunday. This is the Wildcats’ second trip to the Sweet 16 in the past 13 seasons.
The winner of this matchup will play the winner of Tennessee-Florida Atlantic in the Elite Eight on Saturday.
