Galway host Westmeath in the second round of the Leinster senior hurling championship.
Galway were held to a draw in their first round game with Wexford last weekend. Manager Henry Shefflin will be desperate for the win, a win which would be his first victory in the championship as a manager.
Westmeath, on the other hand, put in a decent performance against Kilkenny last time out. Westmeath frustrated The Cats for large periods last weekend. Ultimately, Brian Cody's men seized the initiative when Westmeath went down to 14-men, winning comfortably in the end.
