A punter from Limerick received a five-figure payout from a €25 each-way double on two horses at Galway Races this week.
Galway Beo report that the anonymous punter placed the bet on two of the festival's most prestigious races, The Galway Plate and Galway Hurdle.
The each-way double bet was placed with BoyleSports with Hewick at 16/1 and Tudor City at 22/1.

The each-way bet meant both horses placing in their respective races would also guarantee a pay out but the €25 bet then costs €50. But the two horses took their titles and won a sum of €10,342.
The anonymous winner picked out two horses for a €25 each-way double on their BoyleSports account, knowing a return would be guaranteed if both selections were placed in two big races at the Galway Festival.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “The two big races at Galway this week were won by horses at big prices, but we have to hand it to our Limerick customer who was savvy enough to see it coming.
"They have over €10,000 to show for it, so we wish them all the best celebrating a memorable win!”
Meanwhile Shane Walsh and Damien Comer, fresh from their footballing exploits in this year's championship, headed to Ballybrit racetrack for a day out.
It's nothing out of the ordinary when these two boys put on a show for their fans, and they did it in some eye-catching suits that oozed style and elegance.
Ej Menswear in Sligo had the honour of tailoring the outfits, as they detailed the design of the suits online.
They posted on Facebook, "You can bet it's Walsh and Comer.
"After an incredible season of GAA the boys can finally let their hair down and what better place to do it, than at the Galway Races. We had the pleasure of dressing both Shane and Damien for the event.
"Damo is wearing a Remus Uomo X-slim two-piece beige suit with navy Remus shirt and navy Torino tie. Shane on the left is wearing the Herbie Frogg 3 piece, cream suit and a burnt orange Torino tie."
